Dr. Ambedkar was a great social reformer and an eminent Economist. He was a many sided genius : a distinguished economist, a learned professor, a brilliant lawyer, reputed author and a great political leader, but above all he left the mark as to how one could attain the heights of glory through self help respect. Acting on these principles, he rose to international eminence and exhorted untouchables to follow these principles as the only effective way of removing their disabilities.

The term Ethics is a broad concept. The word “ETHICS” originated from Greek word”ETHOS”. It is branch of philosophy and also considered as normative science because it defines or say relates norms of human conduct. We can say that it is a definition for human being, when action has “Moral” we can say right direction and “Immoral” when goes in wrong direction. Here we are talking about “Business ethics” which is an art and discipline of applying ethical principal to examine and resolve moral dilemmas.

The study examined the impact of animal dung on water quality status in the study area. To achieve this, water samples from the river were collected in pre-washed250ml plastic container. Before the samples were to be collected, the plastic containers were rinsed twice with the river water. The actual collection of samples were done by stepping into the river body, filing the plastic container to the brim. The samples after collection were transported in a cooler and preserved at 40C prior to laboratory analysis. The samples were analyzed in the laboratory for physico-chemical, heavy metals and bacteriological parameters using standard methods. The pollution index (PÉ) as outlined by Amadi was employed as a method of rating that shows the composite influence of individual parameters on the overall quality of water. The results revealed that the river is strongly polluted with bacterial such as total coliform arising from dumping animal dung from the abattoir with a PÉ value of 3.13. The mean value of 19.5mg/100ml exceeds the permissible level of WHO. The WHO recommends a zero (0) per 100ml of total coliform count for drinking water. Besides temperature that shows slightly pollution owing to the activities of factories/industries in this hydrospheric environment, other parameters depict no signs of pollution as their P1 values are less than one (PÉ<1).

The paper tries to explore a new method of understanding stories and comprehension passages. English language is known as the' link language 'to understand the World. Most of the disciplines have made it compulsory to study English. One of the objectives is to improve students'academic English'. Talking about Home Science students, students study English language till higher secondary level. Students are not used to writing descriptive answers .They have seen and unseen comprehension passages respectively for five marks each. Essay writing is for seven marks, the only question which has the maximum number of marks .The First Year syllabus includes language and literature. The approach followed is that of integrated skills so that students are given adequate practice and opportunities in reinforcing skills.

In the present study an attempt is made to identify the changing status and role of women in a urban setting. The problems of status of women has been studies widely and it has received wide attention from the different fields of researchers. One may find a vast literature on it, as there has been considerable studies related to different aspects of women. However, there are limited publications concerning the women in urban setting. Remedial Teaching is done with the motive to do good teaching in order to remove defects and to develop competencies of the child. Remedial instruction is based on the principle of good teaching with the focus on the individual needs and difficulties. The present study is an attempt to study-The Effectiveness of Remedial Teaching for Dyslexic Children in Terms of Improvement in Writing skill and Reaction towards Remedial Material. with the objectives :1) To compare the mean Writing Skills scores of Dyslexic children belonging to Experimental and Control group and 2) To study the Reaction of Dyslexic children, their Parents and Teachers towards the developed Remedial material. For analyzing data, independent ‘t’ test and percentage were calculated. First objective was analyzed with the help of independent ‘t’ test. Second objective was analyzed with the help of frequency and percentage.In conclusion Remedial material was found more effective than Conventional method in terms of writing skill of students.
